Week 1 of the GSL Winter League kicked off this past Sunday at Honeysuckle Park.  A record 26 teams have entered the GSL Winter league.  With 1 week left for late registraion this the Largest 7-Man League in GSL's history and in the Atlanta area.

Welcome to the 13 Brand new teams that have joined the league and increased the overall talent level of the league.  This will prove to be one of the most competitive and exciting seasons for all the teams involved. 

Remember the league is off December 23rd for the Holidays and will begin play again on December 30th.  The FULL season schedule will be released around Christmas so if you have not made your schedule request for the season now is the time.  Once the schedule is released there can be no changes.  If you need December 30th off, I need to know ASAP.  I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you on the field and am sure this will be a great season.  Please feel free to contact me with any ideas, concerns, question, issues or whatever.

I hope to post a newsletter after each week with game recaps and game MVP's.  I should include current standings and the upcoming weeks schedule.  I will also be adding pictures to the site each week so be sure to check them out.  Unfortunatly I had battery issues during week one so I only got a few taken before I was unable to take any more.

Flags are provided by the league.  Please make sure you do NOT take the league's flags home with you.  Each season I lose more and more flags so PLEASE double check yourself that you don't take them home.  Week 1 already has me missing several flags.  If your team would like to purchase flags so that you can have your own please contact me, I have them available for $5.00 each.
